Arriving in Tartu

By plane
You can check connecting flights to Tartu, Tallinn, Helsinki, and Riga airports, and use shuttle transport or rentals to arrive in Tartu.

By car

By train
From Tallinn. Trains run 11 times a day. Fast, comfortable trains (with WiFi) take you to your destination in 2 hours. Schedule and tickets from the Elron page.

By bus
From Tallinn. Comfortable buses depart every half hour from 7 AM to 7 PM, every hour until 11 PM. Find schedules and tickets on the Tpilet or Lux Express pages.

Lux Express has granted a 20% discount for the traveling period of 03.10–4.10 with the code "DIGIT". 

You can purchase campaign tickets on domestic routes in Estonia that travel to or pass through Tartu, as well as on the Riga-Tartu-Riga routes. Of course, return tickets are also available. The discount applies to one-way tickets, but one person can use the discount multiple times, though tickets must be purchased separately each time. 

Important reminders about the discount:

• Campaign tickets cannot be refunded. 
• When changing a campaign ticket, the passenger must pay the price difference between the original and the new ticket if the price of the new ticket in the sales system is higher at the time of modification. 
• Campaign tickets cannot be exchanged for other discounted class tickets. 
• Campaign tickets are valid for standard seats. 
• Campaign tickets can only be purchased through the Lux Express ticketing system - on the website or mobile application (available on the App Store and Google Play).
